FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KELELAHAN KERJA PADA KARYAWAN BAGIAN PENGOLAHAN PABRIK KELAPA SAWIT PT TANIA SELATAN
Palm oil mills are one of the industrial sectors with high workloads, both physically and mentally Heavy working conditions, such as repetitive manual work, hot working environments, high noise levels, and time pressure to meet production targets, increase employee fatigue levels and affect employee productivity and health. This study aims to analyze the factors related to work fatigue in employees of the processing section at PT Tania Selatan palm oil. A sample of 104 processing department employees was selected using accidental sampling techniques, and statistical analysis was conducted using univariate, bivariate chi-square tests, and multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression prediction models. The results of the study showed that 37 employees (35,6%) experienced high levels of work fatigue and 67 employees (64,4%) experienced moderate levels of work fatigue. The chi-square results showed that age (p-value=0,005), smoking habits (p-value=0,001), workload (p-value=0,000) and noise (p-vlaue=0,000) were factors related to work fatigue. Meanwhile, nutritional status (p-value=1,195) and length of service (p-value=0,871) were factors not related to work fatigue. The results of the multiple logistic regression analysis showed that the most dominant variable associated with work fatigue was smoking, with a p-value of 0.000; PR = 15.831; and 95% CI: 3,573 – 70,136. Companies are advised to rearrange work schedules, distribute tasks evenly, install soundproofing in the main machinery area, and establish a no-smoking policy throughout the workplace in order to reduce work fatigue.
