TINGKAT KEPUASAN PASIEN PASCA PENCABUTAN GIGI OLEH MAHASISWA TINGKAT PROFESI KEDOKTERAN GIGI DI RSKGM PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
Introduction: Patient satisfaction was an important indicator in assessing the quality of healthcare services, with no exception for teaching hospitals where clinical services involved clinical dental students. These students were expected to demonstrate clinical competence and professional attitudes to fulfill patient expectations. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the level of patient satisfaction following tooth extraction performed by clinical dental students at the RSKGM of South Sumatera Province. Methods: This study was a quantitative descriptive study using descriptive statistical analysis. The sample in this study was 100 samples taken according to the calculation of the sample size and met the criteria. Data were collected through questionnaires developed based on the five SERVQUAL dimensions. Results: Results showed that most patients were satisfied with the services provided by the clinical dental students at the Dental and Oral Hospital of South Sumatera Province, as reflected in the tangibles dimension (46%), reliability (51%), responsiveness (55%), assurance (65%), and empathy (67%). Conclusion: Patients were satisfied with the services provided by clinical dental student at RSKGM of South Sumatera Province, with the highest satisfaction level in the empathy dimension and the lowest in the tangibles dimension.
