PEMANENAN KELAPA SAWIT SECARA MEKANIS MENGGUNAKAN TIPE MPH-433L DENGAN BERBAGAI MATA PISAU
Technical analysis was carried out to determine the performance of mechanical palm oil harvesting tool type MPH-433L. The parameters observed include 1) engine torque, 2) tool working capacity, 3) tool working efficiency, and 4) fuel consumption. The results obtained the highest engine torque was on the chainsaw blade with a torque of 1.627 lb-ft or 2.2059 Nm and the lowest torque on the mechanical chisel blade was 1.454 lb-ft or 1.9716 Nm. In measuring the work capacity of the tool/equipment, the mechanical sickle blade has the highest value with 188 bunches/hour and the manual chisel blade was the lowest capacity with 68 bunches/hour. The calculation shows that the highest tool efficiency is 58% for mechanical sickle blade. Meanwhile, the lowest work efficiency was found in the manual chisel blade and chainsaw, namely 44%. The average value of fuel consumption is 0.2 liters/hour with the largest value of fuel consumption was chainsaw blade 0.197 liters/hour. Meanwhile, the lowest fuel consumption was found on the mechanical sickle blade, namely 0.136 liters/hour. Keywords : Harvesting, Palm Oil, Mechanical, and MPH-433L
