ANALISIS AVO DAN INVERSI ACOUSTIC IMPEDANCE (AI) DALAM IDENTIFIKASI ZONA RESERVOIR PADA FORMASI BATURAJA LAPANGAN ‘SI’ CEKUNGAN SUMATERA SELATAN
This research focuses on the application of reflection seismic methods, particularly Amplitude Versus Offset (AVO) analysis and Acoustic Impedance (AI) inversion to iden-tify reservoir zones in the Baturaja Formation, “SI” Field, South Sumatra Basin. The study area has carbonate lithologies that are prospective as hydrocarbon reservoir rocks. The data used includes well log data, Pre-stack 3D seismic data (CDP Gather), and Post-stack 3D seismic data, marker data, checkshot data as well as horizon and fault interpretation to build a more accurate subsurface model. The research stages include initial processing of seismic data, well seismic tie, initial inversion modeling. AVO analysis was performed to evaluate the amplitude response to offset in order to detect lithological variations and fluid presence. The model-based inversion results show a range of high acoustic impedance values ranging from 9000 to 10137 g/cc*m/s associated with tight carbonate rocks, and some zones with lower values are thought to be more poros potential reservoirs. The AVO attribute also shows amplitude anomalies corresponding to the possible presence of hy-drocarbons. This integrated approach proves that the combination of AVO analysis and acoustic impedance inversion is effective in supporting indications of hydrocarbon presence in certain ranges.
