cases of DHF with 1 death reported. In 2023 there were 14 cases reported from January-August 2023 with 1 death reported. The incidence of dengue fever is determined by the density of larvae in an area. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors affecting the density of Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae in the homes of DHF patients in the working area of Balai Agung Health Center, Sekayu City. This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The sample of the study are DHF patients in the Balai Agung Health Center working area from January 2022 - August 2023, namely 42 houses out of a total of 48 samples. Data analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results of the analysis showed that the calculation of the House Index (HI) was included in the high density category and the Container Index (CI) was included in the medium density category. Statistical test results showed the number of containers (p=0.001), Mosquito Nest Eradication behavior of respondents (p=0.000), container material (p=1.000), container color (p=0.003), container location (p=0.275), and the presence of a lid (p=0.688) were associated with the density of Aedes aegypti larvae. The conclusion of the study was that the PSN behavior of respondents, the number and color of water reservoirs were the factors that most influenced the density of Aedes aegypti larvae.
