ABSTRACT This research aims to determine and analyze the implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) in the Finance Section of the Palembang City Regional Secretariat. This research is based on the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 70 of 2019 concerning Local Government Information System. The theory used in this research is e-government theory which states that to measure the success or failure of digitization in the public sector, it is assessed from several aspects called success elements consisting of Support, Capacity, and Value (Indrajit, 2016: 11), which are elaborated with aspects of SIPD implementation based on Permendagri Number 70 of 2019. The research method used is qualitative research with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the research, the implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) in the Palembang City Regional Secretariat Section has not been successful because it still does not meet the aspects of the successful elements of e-government implementation, namely reference adjustments that do not yet have fixed rules and server networks that are still problematic. So, the need for commitment from the government to establish rules regarding reference codes and improve server networks so that the implementation of SIPD can run effective and efficient.
