Sexual violence among teenagers is a serious issue that affects the psychological, social, and overall well-being of victims. This study aims to explore the influence of knowledge and attitudes on teenagers’ perceived behavioral control in facing sexual violence, in order to support more effective educational efforts. The study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. A total of 313 teenagers aged 15–18 years participated as respondents, selected through cluster random sampling and purposive sampling techniques. The majority of respondents were 17 years old, female (55.3%), living with their parents (82.1%), and had dating experience (64.5%). The average scores were 11.97 for knowledge, 26.65 for attitude, and 21.92 for perceived behavioral control. Bivariate analysis showed a positive and significant relationship between knowledge (31%) and attitude (28.1%) with perceived behavioral control. Gender and dating experience were also significantly related, while age and living status were not. Multivariate analysis showed that knowledge had a significant influence on perceived behavioral control after being controlled for gender and dating experience (R² = 0.226; p = 0.000), and attitude also showed a significant effect after being controlled for gender (R² = 0.180; p = 0.002). Structured and interactive education, such as socialization, educational videos, and open discussions with pre- and post-tests, is essential to improve teenagers’ understanding and self-control.
