REDESAIN GEDUNG KESENIAN PUTERI DAYANG RINDU SEBAGAI PUSAT PERTUNJUKAN SENI KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM SUMATERA SELATAN
Muara Enim Regency, with its 22 districts and 226 villages, boasts a rich diversity of traditional arts such as music, dance, and martial arts unique to each region. It is crucial to preserve these cultural treasures so that the younger generation can appreciate, safeguard, and continue these traditions. Unfortunately, traditional arts in Muara Enim are gradually fading due to a lack of support and dedicated spaces for artists. In the capital city of Muara Enim, there is a cultural center named Puteri Dayang Rindu, originally designated by the Regent's decree to foster arts and culture. However, currently, the building is often rented out for private or group activities, and its facilities are inadequate for supporting artistic endeavors effectively. To revitalize its original purpose, the cultural center requires renovation and redesign to become a hub for traditional arts performances, training, and management. Incorporating the distinctive architectural concept of the Baghi traditional house, characteristic of Muara Enim, the renovated facility aims to meet standards that promote sustainable development of the arts in the region.
