The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effectiveness of using the Digital Population Identity Application in Palembang City. Normatively this policy is based on Home Affairs Regulation Number 72 of 2022 concerning Standards and Specifications for Hardware, Software, and Electronic Identity Card Stamps and the Implementation of Digital Population Identity. This research uses qualitative research methods. This research is reviewed from three aspects, namely, Goal Achievement, Integration, and Adaptation. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out by the author, the result of the research is that the diverse views of the community indicate the expansion of approaches to ensure inclusiveness and wider acceptance. For now, the IKD application has provided significant benefits but still needs continuous efforts in overcoming the obstacles that arise so that its effectiveness can be improved as a whole.
