Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by increased blood sugar levels due to decreased insulin levels and requires long-term treatment involving the people closest to you. In this case, the role of health cadres is really needed, considering that cadres are part of the community itself and of course know more about the surrounding community. Health education is one of the actions that influences knowledge about disease and can build cadres' awareness of the prevention and treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. This research aims to determine the effect of health education using the BANDING method on the knowledge and skills of Diabetes Mellitus cadres. This research used a quasi-experiment research design, one group pretest and posttest design with a total sample of 20 cadres taken by total sampling. The instruments in this study used a knowledge questionnaire and observation sheets which were used to measure the knowledge and skills of research respondents.
