HUBUNGAN FAKTOR PERILAKU INDIVIDU DAN FAKTOR LINGKUNGAN FISIK RUMAH DENGAN KEJADIAN TB PARU DI KERJA PUSKESMAS KEMAN KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR
Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is still a health problem, Indonesia is the country with the second highest number of tuberculosis cases in the world. Ogan Komering Ilir Regency showed a significant increase in cases from 2021-2024. This study aims to analyse the relationship between individual behavioural factors and physical environmental factors of the house with the incidence of pulmonary TB in the working area of the Keman Health Center, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This study is a quantitative study using a case control analytic research design with a ratio of 1: 1 with a total sample size of 104 respondents including 52 respondents positive for pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) and 52 respondents negative for pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). The sampling technique of this study used the Simple Random Sampling (SRS) method which was obtained by primary data through direct interviews to the community using a questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using chi-squere test and multiple logistic regression test. Based on bivariate analysis, there was a significant relationship between window opening habit (p-value = 0.002), smoking habit (p-value = 0.000), light intensity (p-value = 0.003), humidity (p-value = 0.000), residential density (p-value 0.030) and economic status (p-value 0.000) with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). Multivariate analysis showed that smoking habit (p-value = 0.002; OR = 95%; CI= 7,265) was the most dominant variable associated with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). It can be concluded that individual behavioral factors (window opening habit, smoking habit, economic status) and physical environmental factors of the house (light intensity, humidity, occupancy density) are generally risk factors for the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). Therefore, there is a need for Puskesmas efforts to increase educational programs and improve the condition of the community's living environment.
