Sanitation problems in developing countries are caused by a lack of government focus, scarcity of clean water, limited space, poor sanitation behavior, and lack of sanitation in public facilities. At SDN 12 Rambang Kuang, there are still various sanitation problems such as open trash bins, limited hand washing facilities, and toilets that are not equipped with supporting facilities. Students' behavior Related to PHBS is also still lacking, such as not washing hands before eating, littering, and consuming unhealthy snacks. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of environmental sanitation and clean and healthy living behavior for the environment of Elementary School 12 Rambang Kuang in Tangai Village. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method in which data collection is done by in-depth interviews and observation. The determination of informants was carried out by the Purposive Sampling Technique which amounted to 16 people consisting of 1 key informant (Principal) and 15 supporting informants (Teachers and Students). The results showed that only the variables of physical quality of clean water and disposing of garbage in its place met the requirements, while latrine facilities, hand washing facilities, trash can facilities, hand washing behavior, use of healthy latrines, and consuming healthy snacks did not meet the requirements. The conclusion of this study is that there are still many variables that do not meet the requirements. Suggestions in this study are the need to increase the number and complete supporting facilities for Latrines and hand washing facilities, provide closed trash can facilities, conduct ctps and healthy latrines education, routine garbage disposal programs, and supervision and education related to healthy snacks.
