VISUALISASI NOISE MAPPING BERBASIS GOLDEN SURFER 23 SEBAGAI LANGKAH PENGENDALIAN KEBISINGAN AREA RUMAH POMPA PT.XYZ PROVINSI JAWA TENGAH
Pump station area PT.XYZ is the main area for water processing and distribution using Multistage centrifugal pumps which has the potential to produce noise. This research aims to measure noise levels and map it using Software Golden Surfer 23 so as to get a comprehensive picture regarding control measures in the PT.XYZ pump area. The research conducted was a quantitative descriptive study that applied the Noise Mapping method with a 3x3 m grid technique, supported by National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) measurements and a PCE-322A Sound Level Meter. Measurements were conducted at 20 sampling points across an area of 194,285 m2 during August 2024. The results showed the highest noise level at the point reached 86.56 dB, still exceeding the safe limit regulated in the Indonesian Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 5 of 2018. The resulting Noise Mapping visualized the noise distribution and identified noise measurement points requiring special attention. The analysis showed that the main source of noise came from the operation of a multistage centrifugal pump, with noise levels decreasing with increasing distance from the source. Based on these findings, a comprehensive noise control strategy is recommended, including periodic machine maintenance, mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), increased natural noise barriers, and regular noise evaluation and monitoring. Implementation of these recommendations is expected to significantly improve occupational safety and health in pump station area PT. XYZ.
