Traditional markets are public places frequented by the public, so their environmental sanitation conditions must be maintained properly. Poor environmental sanitation can be a source of various diseases that endanger human health. The purpose of this study was to analyze environmental sanitation in Randik Market Sekayu Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research is qualitative. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation.. The variables studied in this research are location, market building, environmental sanitation, sanitation management, PHBS of traders and visitors, security facilities, and supporting facilities. The informants in this study totaled 13 people, consisting of 5 key informants and 8 ordinary informants selected using purposive sampling technique. The tools used in this study were interview guidelines, observation sheets, and handphone. The data analysis used was content analysis and triangulation test of sources, methods, and data. The results showed that facilities and infrastructure variables, such as location, have met the requirements, but market buildings, security facilities, and supporting facilities have not met the requirements. While the results of research on environmental sanitation such as bathrooms/toilets, landfills, SPAL, hand washing stations, the presence of vectors, market disinfection, food and food sales, sanitation management, PHBS of traders and visitors also do not meet the requirements. However, clean water in Randik Market is good enough because it comes from PDAM and boreholes that are available in sufficient quantities. It can be concluded that the condition of environmental sanitation in Randik Market is not adequate and still needs to be improved and provide facilities and infrastructure for environmental sanitation to support the cleanliness and health of the market environment.
