This study aims to (1) describe the need for interactive media development in learning to write folklore texts for class VII of junior high school; (2) develop products in the form of blogspot-based interactive media in learning folklore texts; (3) describe the feasibility of blogspot-based interactive media products in learning folklore texts developed according to experts; and (4) describe the results of practicality and effectiveness tests of the developed media. This research method uses a development model based on research needs, namely Dick Carey and Carey. The research data are in the form of qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data were collected using interview techniques, while quantitative data were collected using questionnaire techniques. This blogspot- based E-LKPD was compiled based on the results of the needs analysis of class VII students and educators at SMP Negeri 1 Jirak Jaya. This E-LKPD is composed of several features, namely online learning videos, practice questions, folklore text materials, and pretest and posttest evaluations. This E-LKPD has gone through a validation test and received results from material experts of 89.29% (very valid), media experts of 93.3% (very valid), and language experts of 79.5% (very valid), and has gone through the practicality and effectiveness test stages. Based on the validation results from the three experts, the practicality test, and the effectiveness test, this blogspot-based interactive media in learning folklore texts is declared very suitable for use in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Jirak Jaya.
