Employee performance becomes a benchmark for achieving the goals of an organization or company. To maintain the stability of employee performance, the need for locus of control in the employees themselves. This study aims to analyze the effect of locus of control on employee performance. The population in this study was 132 employees. This research was conducted using a simple random sampling method with the aim of obtaining representative samples in accordance with the specified criteria. The number of samples obtained was 57 employees consisting of 5 supervisors and 52 ordinary employees. The method used to analyze the data is simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of a simple linear regression test, it was found that the locus of control had a positive and significant effect on the employees performance of PT Matahari Department Store Ogan Permata Indah Mall Branch by 72.6% Keyword: Locus of Control, Employees Performance
