This research aims to determine the influence of competence and commitment on employee performance at the Directorate General of Self-Help Housing, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. The population in this study was all employees of the Directorate of Self-Help Housing totaling 84 employees. This research uses a saturated sampling technique. The data used in this research is primary data with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the research results, it shows that Competency has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, Commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and Competency and Commitment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Directorate General of Housing , Directorate of Self-Help Housing ,Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing.
