HUBUNGAN TINGKAT KESEHATAN RUMAH DAN PERSONAL HYGIENE DENGAN KEJADIAN STUNTING PADA BALITA DI KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR TAHUN 2025
The problem of stunting is still a major challenge in Indonesia, including in Ogan Ilir Regency which has a prevalence of 24.9% in 2022. Stunting is not only influenced by nutritional intake, but also by home conditions and personal hygiene behavior. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the level of home health (dense housing, temperature, humidity, floor type, ceiling type, ventilation) and personal hygiene (CTPS behavior) with the incidence of stunting in toddlers. This study uses a quantitative method with a case-control research model, the sampling technique used is purposive sampling and 84 respondents were obtained from toddlers aged 0–59 months. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between residential density (p=0.042; OR=2.871; 95% CI=1.084–7.602), home ventilation (p=0.000; OR=6.429; 95% CI=2.116–19.531), and CTPS behavior (p=0.007; OR=3.529; 95% CI=1.388–8.972) with the incidence of stunting. Meanwhile, the variables of temperature, humidity, floor type, and ceiling did not show a significant relationship. It was concluded that residential density, ventilation, and CTPS behavior are important factors contributing to the incidence of stunting. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase education and interventions for home environmental sanitation that focus on aspects of healthy housing and CTPS habits.
