ANALISIS EFISIENSI HEAT RECOVERY STEAM GENERATOR (HRSG) DI PLTGU KERAMASAN
This study analyzes the thermal efficiency of the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) at the Keramasan Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) in Palembang, Indonesia. Field data were collected at three operating times (08:00, 16:00, and 24:00) to evaluate HRSG performance using mass and energy balance. Calculations were based on temperature, pressure, and mass flow rate parameters of both working fluid and exhaust gas. The results indicate that HRSG efficiency ranges from 57.20% to 59.06%, with the highest efficiency recorded at 16:00. The exhaust gas temperature before being released into the atmosphere ranged from 123.41°C to 124.31°C, while the high-pressure steam mass flow remained relatively stable at an average of 10.39 kg/s. These findings confirm that HRSG plays a crucial role in enhancing the thermal efficiency of CCPP, although further optimization is possible through improved thermal insulation, energy recovery from condensation, and the implementation of additional heat recovery technologies.
