PERANCANGAN RESISTIVITY METER DENGAN DATA LOGGER BERBASIS MIKROKONTROLER ARDUINO MEGA 2560 R3 UNTUK APLIKASI PENGUKURAN RESISTIVITAS SKALA LABORATORIUM
This study evaluates the performance of a resistivity meter based on the Arduino Mega 2560 R3, tested on a layered medium modeled in a measurement tank measuring 120 cm × 120 cm × 80 cm, with a total depth of 60 cm consisting of 30 cm of sand and 30 cm of clay. The device is designed for laboratory-scale resistivity measurements and is equipped with a data logger feature. The system is capable of boosting the input voltage from 12 V to 80 V for current injection, compensating for ground potential voltage, adjusting current gain, receiving input for measurement configuration, displaying data on an LCD, and storing data on a microSD card. Test results show that the voltage measurement has an error of 0.98% with a precision of up to 99.62%, while the current measurement has an error of 2.92% with a precision of up to 98.60%. Testing on resistors resulted in an error of 2.12%. The resistivity values obtained from the sand and clay media correspond to the typical characteristics of each material. One-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) inversion modeling using the Wenner configuration was successfully performed based on voltage and current measurements using a digital multimeter. The 1D inversion produced an error of 7.42%, with a detected depth of up to 37.3 cm or approximately 62.16% of the actual total depth, while the 2D inversion yielded an error of 10.6%, with a detected depth of 13.1 cm or around 21.83% of the actual total depth.
