DEVELOPING ENGLISH SUBJECT DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION-BASED E-WORKSHEET FOR 10TH GRADE STUDENTS OF MAN 3 PALEMBANG
This study aimed to develop a differentiated instruction-based English e-worksheet that is valid, practical, and has a potential effect for tenth-grade students at MAN 3 Palembang. The developed e-worksheet was designed using the Liveworksheets platform and intended to support the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka, particularly in addressing students’ diverse readiness levels in English learning. To support students’ learning needs, the e-worksheet is expected to serve as a supplementary material for English teachers and learners. This study employed development research as proposed by Akker (1999), consisting of three phases: analysis, design, and evaluation and revision. The data were collected through questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and a reading comprehension test, and were analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. A formative evaluation was conducted to determine the validity, practicality, and potential effect of the developed e-worksheet. The validity result from expert review reached 3.3, which was categorized as very high validity, covering aspects of content and instructional design. The practicality was assessed in one-to-one evaluation (2.88) and small group evaluation (3.50), both classified as high and very high practicality. In the field test, 83.3 of students achieved the minimum passing grade, indicating that the e-worksheet had a high potential effect. Therefore, the developed e-worksheet can be used as a supplementary learning material to enhance differentiated English instruction for tenth-grade students at MAN 3 Palembang.
