HUBUNGAN SENSE OF COHERENCE DENGAN RUMINATION PADA WANITA DEWASA AWAL YANG MENGALAMI PUTUS CINTA
The aim of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between sense of coherence and rumination in early adult women who have experienced a romantic breakup. The hypothesis of this study stated that there is a relationship between sense of coherence and rumination in early adult women who have experienced a romantic breakup. The research subjects consisted of 230 emerging adult women aged 18–25 years who had experienced a romantic breakup within the past year. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The measurement tools used in this study were a rumination scale based on the aspects proposed by Treynor et al. (2003) and a sense of coherence scale based on the aspects proposed by Antonovsky (1987). The results of this study indicated that there is a relationship between sense of coherence and rumination, with p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), and showed a negative correlation (r = -0.482). This means that the higher the sense of coherence, the lower the level of rumination. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the hypothesis of this study is accepted.
