HUBUNGAN ADVERSITY QUOTIENT DENGAN WORK FAMILY CONFLICT PADA ISTRI BEKERJA YANG MEMILIKI SUAMI TNI
This study aims to determine the relationship between adversity quotient and work-family conflict among working wives of Indonesian National Army (TNI) Personnel. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a relationship between adversity quotient and work-family conflict. This research employed a quantitative method, involving 339 respondents and an additional 50 respondents for the try-out phase. The criteria for participants were working wives with TNI husbands. The sampling technique used was incidental sampling. The instruments utilized were an adversity quotient scale based on the dimensions proposed by Stoltz (2000), and a work-family conflict scale based on the aspects defined by Netemeyer, Boles, and McMurrian (1996). Data were analyzed using pearson’s product-moment correlation technique. The analysis revealed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) with a correlation coefficient of r = -0.380. These results indicate a significant negative relationship between adversity quotient and work-family conflict, suggesting that the higher the adversity quotient, the lower the level of work-family conflict, and vice versa. Therefore, the hypothesis of this study is accepted.
