ANALISIS DAMPAK BOIKOT PRODUK PRO-ISRAEL TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN PASAR PRODUK LOKAL DI INDONESIA
A boycott is a collective action undertaken by society as a form of protest against certain policies or entities in this case, against products associated with Israel. This study aims to analyze the impact of the boycott ofpro-Israel products on the development ofthe local market in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach and the framework of constructivist theory, this research examines how social values, religious beliefs, and the dynamics of social media influence Indonesian society in shifting consumption patterns. The findings indicate that the boycott of pro-Israel products has created space for the growth oflocal products, particularly in the food, beverage, and lifestyle sectors, despite being accompanied by the risks oflayoffs and economic fluctuations. The boycott also reflects the collective identity of Indonesian society, which is shaped by solidarity with Palestine. This shift represents a strategic momentum for local industry players to enhance competitiveness through innovation and product quality.
