Conservation activities at Pangumbahan Beach are carried out through hatching with artificial nests as an effort to increase the hatching success of green turtle eggs. The success of hatching is influenced by various biophysical parameters that are important to consider. This research aims to analyze the influence of artificial nest characteristics on the hatching success of green turtle eggs. This research was conducted from December 2024 to February 2025 using a descriptive survey method with observational techniques. The research results indicate that the bio-physical characteristics of the artificial nests of green turtle eggs are within the optimal range, namely surface temperature (25-32.5 °C), internal temperature (26.3-34.3 °C), pH (6.6-7.0), depth (52-70 cm), and sand substrate type (99.69%). However, the humidity parameter showed results that exceeded the optimal value (30-52%) due to high rainfall conditions. The predator is a red ant that is found only on the surface of the sand in artificial nests. The success rate of artificial nest hatching ranges from 70.66% to 89.23% with an incubation period of 56 to 63 days. The normality test indicates that the residuals in the regression model are normally distributed. However, there is high multicollinearity between the surface nest temperature and the internal nest temperature. The multiple linear regression model has a significant effect on the success of turtle egg hatching. Adjusted R² = 0.748, indicating that the variables in the model explain most of the variation in hatching success.
