INTENSITAS CAHAYA LED GROW LIGHT DENGAN SISTEM HIDROPONIK INDOOR PADA PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN PAKCOY (Brassica rapa L.)
This study aims to determine the effect of LED Grow Light light intensity with an indoor hydroponic system on the growth of pak choy (Brassica rapa L.) plants. This research was conducted in December 2024 - January 2025 at the Agricultural Energy Biosystems and Drafting Laboratory, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The method used in this study is the functional and structural design method and experimental with data presented descriptively in the form of images and tables. The parameters observed in this study include light intensity, temperature, humidity, pH, TDS, EC in nutrient solutions, plant height, number of leaves, leaf width, fresh weight of plants, and plant productivity. In this study, the highest LED light intensity with grow light light was obtained in the 300 watt LED grow light treatment using a sensor or not using a sensor, which is around 4500 lux. The best plant growth was found on 300 watt LED, with an average height of 22.85 cm and leaf width of 12.33 cm, and the highest number of leaves was 19. This shows the importance of light intensity and temperature control for plant growth. Meanwhile, the highest productivity was achieved with 300 watt LED with sensor (A1) of 751.36 tons/ha, while the lowest productivity was achieved with 150 watt LED without sensor (213.69 tons/ha), which proves that optimal lighting and temperature control contribute. Keywords: Pakcoy plants, Light intensity, Humidity, Temperature.
