STRUKTUR DAN KOMPOSISI VEGETASI MANGROVE DI GREENBELT DESA SUNGSANG IV BANYUASIN SUMATERA SELATAN
reenbelt or commonly called Greenbelt is a no-development zone or green space around a central activity area that can cause pollution. This study aims to determine the structure and composition of mangrove vegetation in the Greenbelt of Sungsang IV Village. This study was conducted in January-February 2025 in the Greenbelt of Sungsang IV Village with the observation station determined based on the purposive sampling method, namely the determination of the selected sampling location must be based on the representativeness of the sample area, and refer to several considerations and the ability of researchers to reach the observation station, so as to obtain primary data. The data was analyzed using Microsoft Excel. The results showed that the composition of mangroves in the Greenbelt of Sungsang IV Village was identified as 8 types consisting of 5 major mangroves, 2 minor mangroves, and 1 association mangrove. The structure of mangrove vegetation in the Greenbelt of Sungsang IV Village has characteristics with a sequential arrangement of seedlings, saplings, and trees. The tree level is dominated by Nypa fruticans with an INP of 239.21%, the seedling level by Nypa fruticans with an INP of 149,38%, and the seedling level by Acanthus ilicifolius with an INP of 74,60%
