ESTIMASI SUMBERDAYA DAN PEMODELAN GEOMETRI BATUBARA DAERAH PIT 3 TIMUR, BANKO TENGAH, PT. BUKIT ASAM TBK.
The South Sumatra Basin, precisely located in the back arc basin, has formations that contain coal, including the Muara Enim Formation, Airbenakat Formation and Talang Akar Formation. One of them is PT Bukit Asam Tbk, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra which has a coal mining site. The method used in this research is the stratigraphic correlation method, where this method can help in knowing the stratigraphic conditions, rock distribution and rock geometry in the study area. The required data consists of drill data as well as well log data, local geology data and District DEMNas and RBI data. Based on the results of geophysical logging analysis conducted at 3 drilling well points. The coal layers found in the study area consist of 3 seams. The order from the youngest to the oldest seam is seam A, seam B, and seam C. Seam A1 has the greatest thickness of 16.5 meters, Seam A2 15.4 meters, seam B1 14.2 meters, Seam B2 5.34 meters and Seam C 13.6 meters. The stratigraphic correlation of this wellbore data consists of 3 wellbore points with a distance of BTB_01 to BTB_02 of approximately 110 meters and a distance of BTB_01 to BTB_03 of approximately 1000 meters. Well BTB_01 has a drilling depth of 178.6 meters and found three coal seams namely seam A, seam B and seam C. Well BTB_02 has a drilling depth of 214 meters and found three coal seams namely seam A, seam B and seam C. The BTB_03 well has a drilling depth of 159.6 meters and found two coal seams, namely seam C and seam D. In seam A and seam B there is a thinning of the coal layer caused by the slow process of basin subsidence during coal deposition. The direction of distribution of seam A1, seam A2 and seam C coal is northwest-southeast oriented, while the direction of distribution of seam B1 coal is southwest-northeast oriented and seam B2 is west-northeast oriented. From the coal geometry model above, it can be interpreted the depth and thickness of coal seam A1, seam A2, seam B1, seam B2 and seam C. It is also interpreted that there is a monocline in Pit 3 East which can be seen in the B-B' incision with a northeastsouthwest direction, where the continuity of coal in the northeast which was originally under the surface is revealed to the surface in the southwest direction. The estimation of coal resources carried out in the research area uses the USGS Circular estimation method by making a circle at each point of the research location with the outermost radius regulated in (SNI 5015: 2019) as an area of influence based on the level of geological complexity in the research area. Based on the tectonic aspect, there are regional folds in this area with a rather steep slope. From this aspect, it can be seen that the research area is included in moderate coal conditions based on (SNI 5015, 2011) so that the calculation of coal resources can be carried out based on the classification of geological complexity. The results of the estimated measured resources in seam A1 amounted to 4,566,987 tons, seam A2 4,355,608 tons, seam B1 3,812,039 tons, seam B2 1,412,791 tons and seam C 3,688,855 tons. The indicated resource in seam A1 is 8,098,830 tons, seam A2 11,499,733 tons, seam B1 5,429,465 tons, seam B2 1,619,183 tons and seam C 10,037,948 tons. Inferred resources in seam A1 of 12,129,051 tons, seam A2 13,194,157 tons, seam B1 9,504,217 tons, seam B2 3,042,677 tons and seam C 11,087,336 tons
