PERANCANGAN ALAT PRAKTIKUM GERAK JATUH BEBAS DENGAN PEREKAMAN DATA OTOMATIS BERBASIS WEBSITE MENGGUNAKAN SENSOR INFRARED DAN NODEMCU ESP8266
This research aims to design and develop a free fall experimental device with automatic data recording based on a website using an infrared sensor and NodeMCU ESP8266. The device measures the falling time of an object from various heights accurately and displays the results in real time on a website, reducing manual measurement errors and facilitating data analysis. Testing was conducted using spheres of 3 g and 42 g dropped from heights of 0.4 m, 0.6 m, 0.8 m, 1.0 m, and 1.2 m, achieving an average accuracy of 92.55%, precision of 94.24%, and error of 1.59%. The measured gravitational acceleration value is close to the theoretical value of 9.8 m/s², which is (9.64 ± 0.29) m/s² for a 3-gram ball and (9.82 ± 0.22) m/s² for a 42-gram ball. The direction of the acceleration is toward the Earth's center of gravity.
