This research aims to uncover the representation of female patriotism in the web series "Gadis Kretek" using Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis approach. The series portrays he struggle of the main female character, Dasiyah, as she challenges patriarchal norms and defends ndonesia's cultural heritage in the kretek cigarette industry. This study applies a qualitative method with data analysis based on Barthes' three levels of meaning: denotation, connotation, and myth. Data were collected through scene and dialogue documentation, as well as literature review. The findings reveal that the web series Gadis Kretek' represents female patriotism not through grand heroic acts, but through quiet resistance, cultural dedication, and persistence in the face of structural injustice. Dasiyah symbolizes thestrength of women contributing significantly to social change and the preservation of national identity, even though their efforts are often marginalizec by male-dominated systems. This study highlights hat female patriotism can manifest in subtle yet powerful ways, challenging gender inequality within cultural and social contexts.
