IDENTIFIKASI KELAYAKAN FASILITAS BENGKEL PEMESINAN TERHADAP KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN DI SMK NEGERI 4 PALEMBANG
This study aims to determine the feasibility level of machining workshop facilities and their relationship to the quality of student learning at SMK Negeri 4 Palembang. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The population in this study is all class XI Machining Engineering students, with a sample size of 73 students. The observation results show that the machining workshop facilities at SMK Negeri 4 Palembang are in the very feasible category, with an average feasibility percentage of 81%. Meanwhile, the questionnaire results indicate that the quality of student learning is in the high category, with an average score of 68.45. The Pearson correlation test shows a positive relationship between the feasibility of workshop facilities and the quality of learning, with a value of r = 0.559 and r² = 0.312, which means that 31.2% of the variation in learning quality is influenced by the feasibility of workshop facilities. Thus, it can be concluded that the more feasible the workshop facilities available, the better the quality of students' practical learning. This study recommends that schools continue to improve workshop facilities as an essential factor in supporting the quality of vocational education. The contribution of this research is to provide empirical insights into the importance of workshop facilities in supporting the quality of practical learning in vocational schools.
