This study aims to determine how the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System in the welding workshop of SMK YP Gajah Mada Palembang, as well as to identify supporting factors, obstacles and challenges faced in the implementation process. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management System has been carried out through practical activities, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety briefings before practice. However, there is no written policy, formal documentation, and periodic evaluation. Supporting factors for the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management System include school commitment, the active role of teachers and toolmen, and supporting facilities. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include lack of documentation and the absence of a dedicated OHS team. The main challenges in the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management System are building a OHS culture and limited budget and training.
