STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI DINAS KEBUDAYAAN DAN PARIWISATA KABUPATEN PENUKAL ABAB LEMATANG ILIR (PALI) DALAM PENGEMBANGAN OBJEK WISATA CANDI BUMI AYU
This research aims to analyze the communication strategy applied by the Culture and Tourism Office of Penukal Regency Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) in the development of the Bumi Ayu Temple tourist attraction. Bumi Ayu Temple is one of the historical sites that has great potential to attract tourists, but it is still less known by the general public. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The research results show that the PALI Culture and Tourism Office implements several communication strategies, including: the use of social media, the implementation of cultural events, and collaboration with private parties. In addition, the challenges faced in this communication strategy include budget limitations, lack of trained human resources, and minimal community participation. This research is expected to provide recommendations for the development of more effective communication strategies in promoting tourist attractions in PALI Regency, as well as increasing public awareness of the importance of cultural preservation and local tourism.
