Performing arts in Medan City face limitations in space and infrastructure, despite high public interest. The existing North Sumatra Cultural Park is not optimal in terms of accessibility and facilities. This design aims to create a functional arts building that accommodates music, dance, and theater, with optimal acoustics and human-nature connectivity. The aim is to build a dynamic contemporary arts center and function as a cultural hub for the community. The center will provide a platform for local artists to showcase their talents, interact with diverse audiences, and participate in arts education programs. The site concept combines cultural functions, open space, and regional connectivity, maximizing accessibility from various directions by placing the main building mass as a center of orientation. Circulation is strategically designed to separate the vertical paths of staff and visitors, and optimize vehicle and pedestrian movement on the site. The architectural concept carries a contemporary modern style with a free facade, long windows, clean lines, and minimalist geometric shapes, creating a functional, efficient, and aesthetic building.
