PERSEPSI PENGGUNA SIMAK VERSI 3.0 DAN KUALITAS LAYANAN TERHADAP KEPUASAN LAYANAN AKADEMIK DI FAKULTAS KEGURUAN DAN ILMU PENDIDIKAN UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
The background of this study lies in the era of higher education digitalization, where academic information systems play a vital role in improving the efficiency and quality of administrative services. However, the implementation of such systems often encounters technical and functional challenges that affect user satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of user perception and service quality on academic service satisfaction in the use of the Academic Information Management System (SIMAK) version 3.0 at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey technique involving 319 respondents, consisting of lecturers, students, and administrative staff. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results showed that both user perception and service quality significantly affect academic service satisfaction, both simultaneously and partially. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.512 indicates that 51.2% of the variation in satisfaction can be explained by these two variables. These findings indicate the need to improve SIMAK 3.0, particularly in aspects such as ease of access, service speed, automated notifications, and a more user-friendly interface. This study is expected to serve as a strategic input for system administrators in developing digital-based academic services in higher education institutions. Keywords: user perception, service quality, service satisfaction, Academic Management Information System (SIMAK).
