This study aims to examine the relationship between self regulated learning and academic achievement of students in the Civic Education Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The population consisted of 225 students, and a sample of 135 students was selected using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique, based on the criteria of active student status. The questionnaire used in this study applied a Likert scale. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that hypothesis testing was conducted using Pearson product moment correlation, yielding the following findings: 1) The significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) between variable X and variable Y was 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a statistically significant correlation between the two variables. 2) The calculated correlation coefficient (r) between variable X and variable Y was 0.899 < 1.00, suggesting a strong positive relationship between the variables. 3) Based on the Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.899, the strength of the relationship between variable X and variable Y is categorized as very strong and the tvalue obtained was 15.82, then 15.82 < 1,656. which means H0 is rejected and Hα is accepted
