Sungsang IV Village has high tourism potential and can become a tourist destination despite not having beaches, lakes, or similar natural attractions. However, the village has its own unique beauty and well-preserved traditions. In addition to its natural mangrove forest, the village also has a Mangrove Nursery Center. The mangrove nursery activities not only serve for environmental rehabilitation but also have the potential to be developed into an educational ecotourism destination. However, this potential has not been optimally utilized. Ecotourism development must be based on strategic environmental conditions that have an impact. Mangrove ecotourism development is one way to utilize environmental services from coastal areas in a sustainable manner. Strategic environmental conditions include internal and external factors that can affect ecotourism management. SWOT analysis is used to identify factors that influence ecotourism development from both within and outside the organization. The strategy used in ecotourism development at the Mangrove Nursery in Sungsang IV Village is located in Quadrant I, which implements an aggressive strategy, indicating that it has sufficient strength to utilize its potential. The Mangrove Nursery area in Sungsang IV Village has the potential to be developed into an ecotourism area that showcases all aspects of the area, including fauna and flora diversity, mangrove conservation, and as an educational facility for visitors.
