REPRESENTASI KOMUNIKASI ASERTIF ANTARA NENEK DAN CUCU PADA FILM HOW TO MAKE MILLION BEFORE GRANDMA DIES (ANALISIS SEMIOTIKA ROLAND BARTHES)
This study examines the representation of assertive communication that occurs between grandmother and grandson in the film How To Make Million Before Grandma Dies using Roland Barthes' Semiotic analysis. A descriptive qualitative approach is used in this study to describe the data obtained in the form of words and language. The use of Roland Barthes' Semiotics is used to be able to find out the overall meaning contained in each scene in the film by analyzing using 3 levels of meaning of Roland Barthes' Semiotics. This study found 7 scenes that represent assertive communication patterns between grandmother and grandson. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be seen that assertive communication in this film is depicted through interactions between characters, both verbally and non-verbally, frankly between characters, both in conveying thoughts, feelings, or opinions, which makes the relationship between grandmother and grandson in this film become closer and understand each other well.
