The advancement of information technology in the public sector encourages government institutions to adopt digital systems to support administrative performance. The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of South Sumatra Province has implemented the Management Unit System Information (MUSI) application to streamline data management, administrative processes, and employee performance monitoring. However, the level of user acceptance of this application needs to be further assessed to ensure its successful implementation. This study aims to examine the influence of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness on the attitude towards using MUSI by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This research employed a quantitative approach with a total sampling technique, involving all 102 employees of BPS South Sumatra Province as respondents. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that, partially, perceived ease of use has a positive and significant effect on the attitude towards using MUSI, and perceived usefulness also shows a positive and significant effect on user attitudes. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence user attitudes, even after controlling for socio-demographic factors. These findings confirm the relevance of TAM in explaining technology acceptance in the public sector and recommend that the development of MUSI should focus on improving its user interface, enhancing features to meet user needs, and providing continuous training to increase system effectiveness and user acceptance.
