PT Semen Baturaja Tbk is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) that produces national cement and operates in the South Sumatra region, with its production center located in Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. PT Semen Baturaja Tbk is active in blasting activities aimed at producing rock fragmentation with a size that tends to be smaller, thus facilitating the search process. The blasting carried out is considered to have not achieved optimal results. This is due to the difference between the planned blasting geometry and the actual conditions in the field. This study aims to redesign the blasting geometry to obtain fragmentation with a boulder percentage value of > 80 cm so that it can meet the company's boulder standard of 20%. The research method used is blasting geometry data, fragmentation, explosives data to determine the most optimal blasting geometry plan. Based on the results of the study conducted from the three blasting geometry plans, it was able to meet the boulder percentage standard of > 80 cm. The R.L Ash design with a boulder percentage of 5.22%, C.J. Konya 12.80%, and ICI Explosive 17.54%.
