PEMETAAN TINGKAT KERAWANAN BANJIR DI WILAYAH SUKABUMI JAWA BARAT MENGGUNAKAN METODE SCORING DAN OVERLAY BERBASIS SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS (SIG)
Indonesia is an archipelagic country prone to natural disasters due to its location at the convergence of four tectonic plates and its tropical climate. According to BNPB data from 2024, flooding is the most frequent disaster, particularly in the Sukabumi region, West Java. Flooding in Sukabumi is caused by high rainfall intensity and prolonged rainfall duration, leading to the overflow of rivers such as the Cimandiri and Cikaso. This study aims to map flood vulnerability levels in the Sukabumi region using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach. The method used is scoring and overlay, involving six parameters: slope, elevation, soil type, rainfall, land use, and river density. Each parameter was assigned a score and weight, then analyzed using ArcGIS 10.8 software. The final results show that most of Sukabumi falls into the high vulnerability class covering 152,808.30 Ha (37.03%), medium 135,192.63 Ha (32.76%), low 100,276.32 Ha (24.30%), very low 15,570.60 Ha (3.77%), and very high 8,786.98 Ha (2.13%). Validation results show that 83.34% of flood points based on BNPB data from 2019–2024 are located in areas classified as medium to very high vulnerability, reflecting the consistency of the spatial modeling results with actual field conditions.
