This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) in realizing high-quality regional development planning in Rejang Lebong Regency. The research focuses on the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) and employs a qualitative approach using Campbell J.P.’s effectiveness theory as an analytical framework. The findings indicate that SIPD is fairly effective in terms of productivity, adaptability, beneficiary coverage, program relevance, planner competence, developmental impact, and program sustainability. However, shortcomings remain in user satisfaction and service accessibility, due to limited training, technical issues, and suboptimal helpdesk support. Therefore, while SIPD shows promising results, it is not yet fully effective and requires system enhancement, technical assistance, and user capacity building to achieve its intended governance outcomes.
