Pengarayan Village, located in Tanjung Lubuk Sub-district, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, has significant agricultural potential, but faces challenges in the availability of agricultural tools and machinery (alsintan). This study aims to identify the various types, quantities, adequacy levels, and efficiency of the use of agricultural tools and machinery (alsintan) in Pengarayan Village. The method applied in this research is descriptive, with data collection conducted through surveys and interviews involving local farmers. The results showed that the availability of alsintan in this village is still classified as very low, especially for the types of two-wheeled tractors, water pumps, and post-harvest machines. In contrast, there is a surplus of sprayers. The use of alsintan has been proven to increase farmers' work efficiency in land cultivation, harvesting and post-harvest processes when compared to traditional methods. However, the high rental cost of alsintan and the limited number of tools are significant constraints for smallholders. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase the number of available alsintan, provide rental subsidies, and organize training for operators.
