KADAR BAHAN KERING, LEMAK KASAR, PROTEIN KASAR SILASE RUMPUT PAKCHONG DENGAN PERLAKUAN MOLASES DAN EM-4 (Effective Microorganisms 4)
Rivaldo Soros Sibagariang. Dry matter content, crude fat content and crude protein content of Pakchong, grass silage with EM-4 (Effective Microorganisms 4) and molasses (Supervised by Arfan Abrar). Silage is a forage processing technique that can increase the shelf life of animal feed and can prevent forage damage during storage. Silage technology aims to maintain quality and is also expected to increase the quality of silage feed. This research aims to study the content of dry matter, crude fat and crude protein. Pakchong Grass Silage with Molasses and EM-4 inoculants. This research was conducted in October-December 2024 in the laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Feed, Animal Husbandry Study Program, Department of Animal Husbandry Technology and Industry, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This research was conducted by Proximate Analysis with the Complete Randomized Design (CRD) method with 3 treatments and 5 replications. P0 using pakchong grass without treatment. P1 using Pakchong Grass + Molasses. P2 using Pakchong Grass + EM-4. The changes overseen in this study were Dry Material Content Coefficient (%), Crude Fat Content (%), Crude Protein Content (%). Dry matter content showed significantly different results (P0.05). From the treatment of Molasses and EM-4 with the results of 95.00c ± 0.42 and Crude Fat Content, 5.29ª ± 0.46 while in Crude Protein showed results that were not significantly different 4.14a ± 1.42. Keywords: Proximate Analysis, Dry Matter Content, Crude Fat, Crude Protein, Pakchong Grass Silage
