KEANEKARAGAMAN LALAT BUAH (DIPTERA: TEPHRITIDAE) DI KAWASAN KAMPUS UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA, INDRALAYA
Sriwijaya University has 712 hectares of land, which has a diverse environment, ranging from plantation areas with various fruit plants, grasses, to artificial land. These conditions can be a potential habitat for various species of fruit flies. This study aims to identify fruit fly species, determine the composition and analyse the indices of diversity, dominance, and evenness, and examine the relationship between environmental factors and fruit fly diversity in the Sriwijaya University Campus Area. Sampling was done by trapping method using methyl eugenol attractant. The results showed that there were 4,654 individuals of the Family Tephritidae, Genus Bactrocera, with a total of 5 species Bactrocera dorsalis, Bactrocera carambolae, Bactrocera umbrosa, Bactrocera occipitalis, and Bactrocera albistrigata. Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H') at station 1 was 0.73, at station 2 was 0.75, station 3 was 0.79, and station 4 was 0.65.
