The Product of kriya textile South Sumatra are songket, kain jumputan, kain perada, and kain tanjung. Typical from product of kriya textile South Sumatra is songket. Centra of industry songket South Sumatra gone the round in various area in regency and town that are Palembang, Ogan Ilir, Ogan Komering Ilir and Lahat. Not centrally yet of the songket industrial in South Sumatra, and in the effort following to preserve product of crafting songket, for that require to be provided by a facility which can become the place to increase and develop the skill and creativity of all worker, upgrading product as well as at one blow as center of promotion and sale of result of crafting weave the songket itself. The center of songket industrial South Sumatra planned as center of songket crafting. Intention of planning and scheme The Center of Songket Crafting South Sumatra is to provide the facility which can accommodate entire/all activity of development and promotion of product of industry kriya textile that is as basin of activity and creativity worker in order to yielding product of crafting songket. Scope of scheme and solution of conceming industrial activity of kriya textile Prop. South Sumatra covering industry of the songket crafting. Scheme methodologies cover to make the scheme program, planning phase with analysing data and solution, and phase design by compiling scheme concept. To plan and design the building Center of Songket Crafting conducted by some analysis including analysis tread and analyse the building. Overall of result analyse concluded in a scheme concept to be applied at building. Concept cover the elementary concept of scheme, conception the architectural, concept of structure and concept utility Scheme Center of Songket Crafting is expected can become a valuable small contribution for the progress of industrial crafting South Sumatra, especially weave the songket and can follow to maintain and preserve the hereditary heritage of South Sumatra culture.
