ETNOBOTANI TUMBUHAN OBAT MASYARAKAT SUKU KOMERING KECAMATAN TANJUNG LUBUK KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
Traditional knowledge of medicinal plants among the Komering tribe in Tanjung Lubuk has been passed down for generations. This study aimed to inventory medicinal plant species, usage, preparation methods, utility values, and treatable diseases. Conducted from December 2024 to February 2025 across five villages, data were collected through descriptive surveys and interviews with nine traditional healers (battra). A total of 80 plant species from 38 families were used to treat 42 diseases. The most common preparation method was boiling (35), and oral use was most frequent (3). Typical plants found include Donax canniformis, Premna serratifolia, and Dendrophthoe petandra. The most frequently used species were Curcuma longa (0.66) and Citrus aurantifolia (0.44). The dominant families were Zingiberaceae (0.88) and Piperaceae (0.77). Leaves were the most utilized plant part (42).
