EFIKASI KOLEKTIF GURU DALAM MENGHADAPI SISWA YANG MENGALAMI MOTIVASI RENDAH DI SMP NEGERI 60 PALEMBANG
One of the main issues faced is students’ low learning motivation, which requires serious attention from teachers. This study aims to determine the level of collective self-efficacy among subject teachers in dealing with students who have low learning motivation at SMP Negeri 60 Palembang. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach using questionnaires distributed to 22 subject teachers. The instrument consisted of 12 statement items rated on a 0–100 scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to classify teachers' collective efficacy levels into low, moderate, and high categories based on the mean and standard deviation. The results showed that most teachers were in the moderate category of collective self-efficacy (72.73%), followed by high (18.18%) and low (9.09%) categories. This indicates that teachers generally have a good collective belief in their ability to work together in addressing students with low learning motivation. However, improvements are still needed in aspects such as communication, coordination, and mutual trust. These findings highlight the importance of fostering a collaborative culture in schools to strengthen teachers’ collective efficacy, which in turn can positively influence students’ learning motivation.
