The problem encountered in the operation of Yayang Shop is the large number of sales transactions that occur every day requiring a ledger media to record transaction data. However, because transaction data is still recorded manually, the transaction data has the potential for recording errors. Also, the potential for errors in reading and calculating the number of transactions greatly affects monthly transaction reporting. The purpose of this study is to build, design, and build a cashier application that utilizes the use of a database so that it facilitates the process of data entry, data storage, and can also calculate transaction data accurately. The benefits of the application built are efficiency and reducing the potential for errors in the data entry process, making it easier to create monthly transaction reports. The results of testing using the black box method resulted in the conclusion that the application can run well in the process of managing transaction data at Yayang shop.
