PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM PAKAN OTOMATIS UNTUK BUDIDAYA IKAN TAWAR
Freshwater fish farming is a crucial sector in Indonesia's agriculture industry, yet manual feed management remains a major challenge in improving efficiency and productivity. This research aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automatic feeding system capable of precisely scheduling and controlling the amount of feed delivered. The system is designed using the ESP32 microcontroller as the main control unit, a Real Time Clock (RTC) module for feeding time management, an ultrasonic sensor to monitor feed quantity, and a servo motor to operate the feed dispensing mechanism. System monitoring and control are integrated through the Blynk application, allowing farmers to manage and monitor the system remotely via smartphone. The research methods include literature study, observation, consultation with supervisors, implementation, and system testing. The results indicate that the developed system can automatically dispense feed according to a predetermined schedule, reduce feed waste, improve operational efficiency, and support sustainable freshwater fish farming. This system is expected to serve as an innovative solution to enhance the productivity of Indonesia's aquaculture sector.
